Amitabh Bachchan, the renowned Bollywood actor, has reported sustaining an injury while shooting for his upcoming film, Project K, in Hyderabad.
On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan posted on his blog that he suffered a broken rib cartilage while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming movie, Project K, in Hyderabad. He also mentioned a muscle tear to his right rib cage and that he had to cancel the shoot. After consulting with doctors and undergoing a CT scan at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, he returned to his home in Mumbai to rest.
During an action sequence in a film, the actor sustained an injury that caused a muscle tear in his right rib cage. The affected area has been strapped, and the actor has been advised to rest. The injury is quite painful, particularly when moving or breathing. It may take several weeks for the actor to experience some level of normalcy, and pain medication has been prescribed to alleviate the discomfort.As a result of the injury, all scheduled work has been suspended, dropped or postponed until the actor’s recovery. Although he is able to move around a bit for essential activities, he spends most of his time resting at Jalsa.The actor expressed his regret at being unable to meet well-wishers at Jalsa Gate that evening due to his discomfort, and he requested that they refrain from visiting. He also urged people to inform others who may have been planning to come. However, despite the injury, he reassured fans that he is otherwise doing well.
The movie, Project K, is directed by Nag Ashwin and has been filmed in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously, with shooting taking place in different locations. The film stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhash in significant roles.
