Initially, NTA had set June 30 as the date of result announcement for this test.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) results are to be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) within a week. The applicants may check their results on NTA’s official website. They must enter their application number and DOB for result access purpose.
The NTA will also publish CUET UG toppers list along with scores.
Exam provisional answer key was released on July 7, 2024. Candidates were allowed till July 9 to challenge any question they felt was wrong in the provisional answer key; they had to pay Rs.200 per question as a requisite fee for objecting such questions though.
This year’s NEET-UG and UGC-NET fiasco followed by irregularities caused delay of so many things including that of result which was earlier scheduled for June30th according to NTA. These students who appeared expectantly are waiting for CET-UG results since then which were supposed to come out today but w[ere] delayed after what happened during NEET UG and UGC-NET where a major irregularities nearly happened. These students who sat for the CUET UG 2024 examination are anxiously waiting for their results, which were due today but were postponed following the NEET UG and UGC-NET scandal which almost took place.
The delay in announcement of CUET UG results as well as cancellation of UGC NET will affect admissions in the forthcoming academic session. As per CUET-UG 2024 scores there will be admission into undergraduate course across 261 universities.
The entrance examination was conducted for admission to undergraduate courses at central and other participating universities on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 29 across more than three hundred seventy-nine locations. The NTA organized this test with a hybrid approach this year being its first time of conducting it this way.
