IBPS Clerk 2024: Candidates can apply for the IBPS Clerk 2024 until July 28 on ibps.in, according to the institute.IBPS Clerk 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the application deadline for the Common Recruitment Process for the Clerical cadre (CRP Clerk XIV). According to them, candidates can apply for IBPS Clerk 2024 until July 28 on ibps.in. They had previously given a deadline of July 21.
Furthermore, all other terms and conditions of the exam will remain unchanged as mentioned in notification. The institute said that corrigendum if any would be issued on ibps.in.
This year’s IBPS Clerk will witness eleven participating banks filling a total of six thousand one hundred and forty eight vacancies of clerical cadre. Here are some names of participating banks like Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India etc.Ahead of the examination, pre-examination training will be conducted by IBPS from July 12 to July 18 either online or offline mode. Prelims exam is tentatively scheduled in August and admit cards for it will be released in the same month.
The result for IBPS Clerk prelims is expected in September.
Those who qualify in prelims exams will go through mains round which is likely to be held in October.In April, 2025 provisional allotment of selected candidates may take place.
To apply for IBPS clerk candidate must not below than twenty years old and up to twenty-eight years old as at first day of July, twenty-twenty-four. There are relaxations available for reserved category candidates regarding age limit.
Applicants should possess degree at graduation with operating knowledge and working knowledge on computer system; certificate/ diploma/ degree holder in computer operations/language/ having studied computer or IT as one of the subjects either in school level or college.
Further, they should have knowledge of official language of the state/ UT.
Besides fulfilling the eligibility conditions, aspirants must also have a good credit history at the time of joining. More details can be found in the examination notification.
The prelims exam is going to be a 60-minute affair with 100 questions and 100 marks. There will be three sections in the prelims paper – English Language (30 questions for 30 marks), Numerical Ability (35 questions for 35 marks) and Reasoning Ability (35 questions, 30 marks)
Cut-off Marks are yet to be disclosed by IBPS which will determine qualification into each section.
