India defeated Nepal by 82 runs in their Women’s Asia Cup 2024 Group A encounter on Tuesday thanks to timely hitting from Shafali Verma and a three-wicket burst from Deepti Sharma. Nepal lost wickets frequently when chasing a goal of 179, eventually finishing at 96/9 after 20 overs. Arundhati Reddy and Radha Yadav also claimed two wickets apiece, in addition to Deepti. Verma earlier scored 81 runs off of 48 balls, leading India to an enormous total. India has therefore advanced to the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 semifinals.
