Central Industrial Security Force has begun inviting online applications for the post of Constable, and the recruitment process has 1130 slots.
Eligible candidates can apply at the official site at cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in on or before September 30. To register online, candidates will have to visit the official website and click on “Login”, then click “New Registration”, and fill in the details, make the payment and submit. The CISF requests that candidates submit their applications well before the closing date to avoid issues that may arise due to website congestion.
The selected candidates will have to appear first for the PET and PST. After the tests, they will be sent for DV. Those candidates who will successfully clear PET, PST, and DV will be allowed to sit for the Written Examination.
The Written Examination: The written examination includes an objective-type test having 100 multiple-choice questions each carrying one mark. The test will be made available in both English and Hindi and will be conducted in OMR/Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Most importantly, there is no negative marking involved in this test, which gives candidates a fair chance at scoring well. This recruitment drive by the CISF therefore, comes as a big opportunity for the eligible candidates to get a position within the force for national security and maintenance of law and order.

The official notification reads: “Candidates are advised, in their own interest, to submit online applications well before the closing date and not to wait until the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection, inability, or failure to log in due to a heavy load on the website during the closing days.”

As of the last date of application, candidates should have passed 12th or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university on completion with Science as one of the subjects.

PET, PST, and Document Verification are part of the selection process. The documents of candidates clearing PET/PST will be scrutinized. The candidates qualifying in PET/PST/DV will have to undergo Written Examination, which shall be conducted in OMR/Computer-based Test (CBT) mode. There will be one objective-type paper containing 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. The test will be bifurcated into both the English and Hindi languages. There shall be no negative marking for any incorrect answer.
