Job Description (Talent Acquisition Specialist)

The Opportunity

Nature of Employment: Contract
Skills acquisition specialist must identify talent sources through a networked approach outside of marketplaces, conduct evaluations on their competency levels against business objectives throughout candidate sourcing processes for massive numbers of hires. This entails acting as an expert consultant to recruiting managers, validating and employing alternative hiring channels to create a diverse pool of candidates for the company, and ensuring we hire the best talents.
Key Responsibilities for Talent Acquisition Specialist
Proactively identify and develop robust and thorough talent maps
Use multiple media channels to build up more active candidate database
Screening of potential employees against job specifications by assessing their competencies in relation to culture-fit is done here.
Liaise with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, to ensure candidate profiles align with position specifications.
Provide a satisfying Applicant experience that will be sustained.
Deliver detailed recruitment information into an applicant tracking system and maintain this document offline as well.
Create talent pipelines out of various sourcing platforms (Such as Linked In or other alternate sources).
Requirements for Talent Acquisition Specialist
1-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment (preferably non-tech)
Hands-on experience with sourcing, head-hunting is a MUST
Communication: Strong ability to communicate with hiring managers/senior executives throughout organization.
Time management skills must be remarkable.
Basic degree from college
Good knowledge about firm’s policies, procedures & protocols related recruitment activities.
Good To Have Hiring experience in the media industry Contractual hiring experiences.
