March 24 : Srinagar: An unfortunate event occurred on Sunday morning in the Haft Yarbal neighbourhood of Srinagar. The man was viciously attacked with an unidentifiable instrument, suffering severe injuries before passing away.
The victim, was 37 years old and the son of Wali Mohd Ganie, was from Haft Yarbal Safa Kadal.
According to an official, Ganie was severely injured by the assailant’s weapon and was brought to the nearest hospital for immediate medical assistance.However, he was certified dead upon arrival.Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the occurrence, and an inquiry has commenced in this regard (KNO).
