Q1:-How would you assess Griffin as a Scientist?

Ans:– Griffin discovered that human body could be made transparent by taking some drugs. But he was not a true scientists because instead of using his discovery for the betterment of the society, he misused it.

He was short tempered and spoken lies . He lacked a human heart. He used bad means and created terror in people. He took full advantage of his transparent body. He did a lot of mischief and used the discovery only for his personal gains , thus he cannot be called a true scientist.

Why were they suprised and fascinated.

Ans:– When the two lads in London observed the muddy impressions of a pair of bare feet but couldn’t see the man who was, they were astonished and fascinated.They tried to guess who this man could be and what he was doing or where he was going.

Ans:- Griffin discovered that human body could be made transparent by taking some drugs, but he was not a true scientist because instead of using his discovery for the betterment of the society, he misused it. He set the house of his Landlord on fire and after taking the drugs he made his body transparent and escaped from there. He stolen some warm clothes and edibles From a store. He also stole dark glasses, a false nose and bandages from a shop and even robbed the shopkeeper of his money. After this he stayed at an inn in a village and cheated Mr and Mrs Hall , the owner of the inn. When police constable was called to arrest him, the scientist knocked him down unconscious. He took full advantage of his transparent body. He did a lot of mischief and used the discovery only for his personal gains and struck terror in the hearts of others . Thus we can say Griffin misused his discovery.
