After this he stayed at an inn in a village and cheated Mr and Mrs Hall , the owner of the inn. When police constable was called to arrest him, the scientist knocked him down unconscious. He took full advantage of his transparent body. He did a lot of mischief and used the discovery only for his personal gains and struck terror in the hearts of others . Thus we can say Griffin misused his discovery.
